The first ten minutes matter. Call +254 791 330 330 first — our team gives instructions while the ambulance is dispatched.

Severe bleeding

Apply firm, continuous pressure with a clean cloth. Do not remove soaked dressings; add another layer on top and elevate the limb if possible.

Burns

Cool with running water for twenty minutes. Never apply oil, toothpaste or ice. Cover loosely with cling film or a clean sheet.

Seizures

  • Move objects away and cushion the head
  • Do not restrain the person or put anything in the mouth
  • Turn them onto their side once movements stop
  • Time the seizure — beyond five minutes is an emergency
Our ambulance and resuscitation room operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
